Sometimes I quietly wish I could be met in the ways that feel natural to me. Sometimes I wish I could have my horns acknowledged not in a costume way, or my muzzle imagined, but I don’t expect anyone to know that or to cross any boundaries. Please don’t take my reserve as rejection.

There are days when the disconnect between who I am inside and what the world sees is overwhelming, and I’m just trying to move through it as gently as I can. Your patience, understanding, and kindness in those moments mean more than I can explain.

I’ve learned to carry a tough outer shell and keep my guard up because of things I’ve lived through, not because I don’t care or find you annoying or anything. This isn’t a trans thing. It’s an otherkin one, and I’m completely serious about that.

Where else in the world can you say that you filled a space with 150+ therians and otherkin.

Let alone this place was an ex catholic school auditorium.

Being a creature from hell, quite cathartic and strange energy all at the same time to reclaim such a place.
