I’m reformed climate change denier Tony Heller. I'm blowing the whistle on climate change deniers like myself for fun and parody.

Technically that’s not a hallucination, it’s a fantasy.

I asked Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini to analyze the photo. ChatGPT was most accurate by far and could tell what was happening in the photo and used visual clues to identify approximate year of car. Gemini thought it was a homicide scene. Claude thought it was a corvette from the 60s or 70s.

Once you to realize humans were never really all that sane to begin with, you can start to wrap you head around it.

He’s a symptom of a problem as old as civilization itself: humans do a pretty crappy job of letting the right people lead.

I went back and watched a couple of Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns recently with Clint Eastwood. Growing up they always seemed to me to be an exaggerated, cartoonish and unrealistic take on human nature.

An LLM will actually do better than most people. I think the big risk is if you are talented and you slack off. You might be missing out on uncovering some great gems hidden in your brain that never pop out because you didn’t exercise it enough an didn’t bother to really mull things over.

It really depends on the context. I’d be a lot more attentive writing a thesis then if I’m writing to a work colleague on some brainstorming email.

But I really don’t trust people to do the same. That’s the problem. And we all get lazy especially when overworked.
