I had found a different provider and will no longer be needing their services. Legit they weren't even phased just. "Okay I'll tell his nurse"

Part of me wishes they'd ask but. Not like that does anything.

Also I called my old Dr's office that had been managing medication (but didn't offer this new treatment). I've had so many issues with the new dr that had replaced my old one

That's why I'd originally started looking for a different one.

Told the appointment line to cancel all my apps and that

And also I don't need any kind of authorization for the treatment itself.

So like. I just need to wait until I qualify for FMLA mid January. Then go under short term disability for at least the first month.

And I think I've got transportation figured out for treatment too

Kinda freaked me out bc my timeline got moved up SO FAST but still.

Insurance also approved the medication within two hours of getting the authorization.

And the new dr office applied for the assistance program for the medication for me without having to be asked so I only owe $10 for each dose

My therapist definitely had a hand in it. Considering she knew the doctor personally and texted her mid appointment. And they somehow got me in in LITERALLY a week. When often places like this are 6mo minimum if not a year.

Ridiculously thankful for that.

Oop late update! updates. New dr office was incredibly fast in submitting authorization literally the next day after this appointment. Idk if this means that that my case is that serious or if the Dr's office is just that on top of it. Definitely the latter at the least.
