Given how awful Ross consistently showed himself to be, I feel like long-lasting happiness needs to include not being being in a relationship with him.

Definitely feels like we've spent a very long time in 'intense speculation' mode, whereas usually we're in 'light wondering' mode for quite a while and then intense speculation mode in the lead up.

My mum’s wholly supportive & amazing but none of us even considered the idea that anyone other than my partner would be with me for the births of our kids.

Yep, I've always disliked & avoided it, but am in it for the duration with the teenager now.
