@danabra.mov explained it perfectly. UIs tend to have very deep trees where drilling down arguments into potentially far away layers starts to be a problem. This is solved by a context since components at the end are not just functions, they have specific needs as a consequence of their lifecycle.

I think you should check out how Attention works or word2vec for example. This was a nice bridge from foundational math to more applied stuff for me.

Great post! I had to smirk about saving LOC with ptrutil. An ongoing love-hate relationship with Go for me - I love the language's verbose character, but also dislike it sometimes.

Man unterschätzt einfach als Normalo gerne wir sehr es am Ende um strategische / machtpolitische Abwägung geht. Kompetenz ist einfach ein Kriterium unter vielen und offenbar hier nicht ausschlaggebend. Das ist eben auch für viele so ermüdend und von außen schwer zu ertragen.
