The Hub is where so many of the subways converge, around 150th and Cortlandt? I take either the 2 or the 5 there.
It's the place they trot out on the news segments about tranq . . .but even with the subways, they haven't gentrified that area yet.

I've been up to the Hub a few times over the last year, but nothing much happening there (except a whole lotta tranq).

I moved upstate last February (not by choice), and when I drive down to the 11215 from up here, it's SHOCKING to see all the high-rises in the Bronx! HUGE buildings, must house 1000s of people.
Someone told me lots were affordable housing, but can't confirm.
