To be honest, take out Level (and obviously the preference would be to take out Josuar), and I’d strongly consider making this trade. #SFGiants

Not that it matters because they can’t trade for him, but Ron Washington did turn Marcus Semien into a really good SS in Oakland after he was a very bad one in Chicago.
CJ Abrams was -11 Outs Above Average last year, 35th out of 37 qualifying shortstops. -9 Fielding Run Value, 70th out of 71 qualifying shortstops.
Unlike Bo Bichette, he's not good enough offensively to make that profile work for a groundball pitching and defense Giants team.

I think it’s possible this man screwed up and traveled without proper documentation, and it’s also possible our increasingly Nazi-ish border apparatus fucked up and detained someone too famous for them to disappear, and this is the face-saving cover story everyone has agree on. I doubt we’ll know.
