Families’ hearts are breaking all over Central Texas right now. I am beyond proud of my Democratic community who showed up with over 200 cars full of donations for the flood victims in our neighboring Kerr County. Kyle, Texas makes me proud. 💙

I teach trans students. Some have supportive homes, some do not. They all feel safe and respected with me. Any action forcing schools to ‘out’ them to their parents could be life threatening. If a child does not feel safe being their authentic self at home… what does that say about the parents? 🏳️⚧️

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.
