One day after the Supreme Court lifted the ban on racial profiling, federal agents swarmed a car in Van Nuys.

Four masked agents with guns drawn yanked people out, slammed them to the ground, and pointed a weapon at a pregnant woman.

There is no justification for this. None.

Northern Ireland man from Lisburn kidnapped by Trump’s Ice raids because he “looked like a Mexican”. He had the correct visa, all his documents. He’s never been in trouble with police.

Held in terrible conditions. A fellow captive couldn’t get his medication and dropped dead of a heart attack

Access has been similarly restricted to the recordings archive. The bottom line is that this and many other fundamental changes made to other areas of the BBC (Sounds, for instance) is to make money as a direct instruction from the DG. It’s very sad.
Calling historians and researchers. The BBC Written Archives Centre has changed its access rules without consultation. This means an end to proper independent research into the BBC's rich history. 178 have already signed the open letter. Please join the campaign:

David Lynch's passing calls me to recall "The Perfect Drug," written for Lynch's Lost Highway, a personal NIN fave, though I'd not ever seen the video for it, it's amazing in a real "More goth, no, more goth than that, what part of 'more goth' do you not understand" sort of way

Wow - I mean, he’s not wrong but still, ouch! 😆

I think the problem is the classic animated #SnowWhite is very reliant on the animation style to bring the charm to the animals and dwarves. Without that it was always going to be uncanny.

You should be able to buy “well done” versions of certain foods. As in, left in the oven a bit longer than the brand intends.

McVities digestives, Ritz crackers, Jacob’s cream crackers - all much better when you happen to buy a batch that is well done.
