We honor the bravery of Ahmed al Ahmed, a bystander who risked his life to protect those under fire. The lesson, yet again, is all too clear: Our safety is bound up together.

Pluribus is further an Autism / Allism allegory in that virtually everone else *intrinsically* understands each other in ways that Carol doesn’t “get” and vice versa

I am not saying Vince Gilligan intended this … just that Pluribus is an extreme example of the Double Empathy Problem.
Much of Pluribus can be viewed as an allegory for being Autistic in an Allistic world.

Carol cannot see why anyone would want to be part of *whatever* *Everyone* is and Everyone else intrinsically infantilizes Carol and by their own analogy see her as a dronding person they *should* save.
Minor Pluribus Spoilers

A lot of Neurodivegent ppl eventually ask the question:

What if (virtually) *everyone* was literally *one* Neurotype … what would that look like?

Pluribus explores that question through the eyes of one of the *only* (<20) divergent ppl to that singular Neurotype.

It was too cold for the masked agents to stay out there all that time.

Some of the protesters brought items to keep the two men warm -- heating pads, jacket, food -- but the agents told them they couldn’t get the items to the upper floor.
