I can be upset with the genocide while simultaneously voting to not make things infinitely worse for this country and the entire world.

The bigger problem is the non-voters who were willing to risk this because perfect didn’t exist.

It’s quite possible more were expected, but many of us are participating in the Blackout.

It’ll be hard to find many who aren’t AIPAC funded, which is a whole different dilemma. Newsom is the narcissist we need in the moment, but I don’t think we need to elect another one as president.

This seems to be the line every time a Dem does and says what they should, from Booker’s 25+ hour filibuster, to Newsom or Pritzker pushing back at Trump directly. It’s depressing that the right thing is now exceptional and not the norm.

I’m 16 years free from celebrating Thanksgiving. Two of my three children also don’t celebrate.

Someone said the reason we can’t have Universal Healthcare is because then we’d know the extent to which our government and corporations are poisoning us. That hurts, so it’s probably true.
