To continue with the example, the programmers, artists, musicians, story writers, etc who actually make the games aren't Activision. The PR people who pretend to be your friends aren't Activision. Activision is Activision. They are a business, full-stop. "We" are at their mercy

You don't tell your boss what you're going to do, they tell you what to do and you do it, or you don't have a job anymore. When a company is this big, bureaucracy separates the boss from the real world and real people. In practice, they tend to be unreachable and unmovable

Headcannon is a "Developer" because that's what we do. We are a small team whose name happens to be the same as the registered DBA. Activision, on the other hand, are a massive corporation with "business experts" managing and controlling smaller teams making the games for them

Guessing that's a "No"? I'm wondering if the idea that there ever was a PC version is misinformation, especially since I can't find any evidence other than raw platform lists, and the two confirmed platforms both use the 6502 processor vs the PC's x86. There are a few other "Game Maker"s for DOS too

I do know Rouge also fights one of their machines, but I find it reasonable to believe that wasn't a factor being considered when the song was created

I realize it's just a mediocre soldering job, but I got into a good groove by the time I was done. Some low-level work and research I've been doing recreationally has pushed me more into the realm of hardware, and this is a skill I've been particularly worried about developing
