Good to work w teachers making plans to teach media literacy lessons this Spring- theme today-learning about your students-check out what our rock star teacher leader heard from his grade 11/12 scholars
STUDENT RESPONSES: "I kind of just doom scroll until it's time for me to start my homework. If I did find something interesting it would be like daily vlogs or some fashion related posts." "I am currently interested in different geo politics around the world. For example I am currently interested in the German elections that happened yesterday and the turn out in terms of who voted for the different parties. I think what captured my attention is that Germany is one of the most influential countries in Europe. I recently watched some youtube videos and social media post on the topic." "Im interested in pop culture around the 1960s-70s. I also obviously am interested in more common new things on instagram and TikTok. I follow people with similar aesthetics and interests to me. The last thing I liked was a video on Timothee Chalamet winning his SAG award. I keep up with like music and fashion stuff too. The last thing I posted was my outfit I wore yesterday on TikTok while holding a smoothie from active culture." "Usually outlandish celebrity comments capture my attention.
