Part of the city's grant application process is asking residents what they want to see these funds do, so I've included the QR code for that below. Please take a minute to do the survey, more input strengthens the city's application to HUD. (6/7)

While the amount of money is relatively small, CDBG funds have had an outsized impact on Huntington's ability to address persistent problems like homlelessness, affordable housing, facility updates, etc. (5/7)

Typically the city gets a letter in October or November detailing net year's formula fund amounts, application deadlines, etc. That hasn't happened. (4/7)

I say "supposed to get" because as of right now, neither city officials or the consultant they work with to prepare the grant application have heard when - or if - this HUD funding will be available. (3/7)

Huntington is supposed to get a little more than $2 million in what are called formula funds from Housing and Urban Development:

$1,606,051 for Community Development Block Grants.
$583,626 for the HOME Investment Partnership Program.
$146,324 for Emergency Solutions Grants. (2/7)
