I love her writing. And I appreciate authors who invest in not only the relationship between the characters but also between the reader and the characters. I am more likely to enjoy the spice if I've made some kind of emotional connection to the writing.

Yes - I hate it! There's no chemistry or foreplay for some authors. Just BAM! sudden sex scene 🙄

Star Eater was a trip but this one is phenomenal! I like that the world building happens as she experiences things. Yes, I'm left wondering about the history but I know I'm bound to get the truth eventually. This will likely be one of my favorites this year 🥰
