Yarp, I’ve never made an account for, or used Facebook or Linkedin in my entire life, and it’s only ever helped me in keeping things this way lol.

Reminds me of when the (failing) Boring Co. tried to reinvent trains, but worse

People know that modern success is a game. And you would think that winning the game makes you smart, but actually the way these guys win is by cheating without (luckily) getting caught

She pried her ill-gotten millions with some amazing stock trades, like the rest of the ghouls in congress

I’m a complete noob sadly, I plan on testing a complete reformatting with Linux on an old laptop—eventually replacing ‘agentic’ windows on all devices

We’re teaching the next generation that they require yet another monthly rent payment to a giant tech monopoly just to function in life. Bleak

TX polls are dominated by self serving geriatric voters. Almost no one votes here, or even knows there is an election happening half the time. And organizing is very difficult here because everything is obscenely car-dependent and spread out. TX life is isolating.

Texas has a non-voter issue (except for old people). Folks here don’t even know there is an election happening most of the time, or how to even vote. And there is no easy way to organize b/c everything is so spread out and car dependent. TX life is very isolating

Jeans, and Wolf. At Tanagra.

Texas has no political organization. Only 13% voted this year, and most of them are retirees who read these amendments for the first time as they voted. No joke, Texans never know when an election is happening. There is no fanfare or adequate signage, no ground game

The funny thing is: I bet half of Texans don’t even know either state is doing any kind of redistricting, let alone what that would mean politically. Politics is a ghostly phenomenon of nature over here
