We're working on an improved version of @ariakit.org, and I've never seen anything this good.

– Superb UX
– 200+ new copy/paste examples
– Tailwind plugin for easy and accessible styling
– shadcn commands

Can't wait to release this.
Thank you thanks.dev for sponsoring Ariakit 😊

I've been seeing a lot of hate for OpenAI's new browser because it's Chromium-based.

Honestly, I don't know which would be worse: building an engine from scratch or basing it on WebKit or Firefox.

Kudos for being open-source! But "Fast" and "WebKit" don't go well together. Even Gecko is faster despite being behind on features.

It's awesome that Firefox supports view transitions now. Could we get container style queries next?

If you all stop using Firefox (or Zen) today, I can ship something really nice with container style queries tomorrow.

Is CodeSandbox still active? It's becoming increasingly unusable over time.

StackBlitz is an awesome alternative, but with the company shifting its focus to Bolt, I'm afraid it will meet the same fate.

Are there any other options?

My first impression of Remix 3 is that it’s a bunch of new APIs to do what we already do. It doesn’t seem to unlock new capabilities.

HTML fragments are cool, but you can already do that by returning RSC from server functions in React. Astro supports it too.

My favorite React API is the end of forwardRef.

The new @ariakit.org app will include styled examples with copy-paste code, AI prompts, and shadcn commands for both Ariakit React and React Aria.

You should be free to choose the underlying component library for your app.

Tooltips are an accessibility nightmare, but if you want to make them as accessible as possible, make sure users can move the cursor over them.

Some magnifier tools use the cursor position. If the tooltip closes when the cursor moves away from the anchor, it will not work.

Firefox is the browser that's furthest behind with modern features, but Safari's poor implementation is the worst.

I'm starting to think Trump is trying to restore global economic balance...

By making the US less competitive.
