Our long term goal is to build them a home (around $6K) but right now our priority is getting them into a safe rented home and help them set up to sell their bread (which is so yummy!)

This mom and dad work hard for their children (they are all in school!) but need some help to get settled in a safe home and a small business grant. This is where we can step in the gap and help them become self sufficient.

Listening to a mom cry about the fear she has in the night for her children stays with you. She is worried about leaving her children as orphans and that they will have to live on the streets.

This family had their land taken away and now are in a spot that does not protect them from the rain, hyenas or other unsafe situations. These are valid concerns.

This was a wonderful visit where a meal was cooked for us (that was so good!!) The family is close (a set of twins as well!) and filled with love and joy in spite of their circumstances. Dad and mom work together making and selling bread for people coming up the mountain.
