We are an inclusive group of musicians, music educators, & synthesizer enthusiasts on the Big Island of Hawai'i, hosting live-music events, educational seminars and workshops in the community, including fun gear bazaars, demos, and socials. ALOHA
Bring a pair of headphones that have a 1/8” or 1/4” audio jack.

Museum admission: $1 for children, $2 residents, & $5 non-residents; HSC requests synth-heads contribute to our GFM campaign (link found within this profile) to support our efforts to bring these events elsewhere on island. 🤙

A select few members will be demonstrating some unique modular systems in a quadraphonic setup, so this should make for some truly interesting sonic experiences.

We’re also trying to raise funds so that we can host more of these (because “free” space is an extremely rare thing here). Hope you will consider tossing a fiver into the hat. 🙏

Was just explaining this video to a friend when discussing early-adopters. Great video.

Check out our mission:

Hawaii lacks funding for music education in schools, like many schools across the country. But the extent to which we lack funding is tragic.

Here is my vision for Hawaii Synth Club…

Aw dang! Too bad the fountain chilled out. It has been crazy intermittent this series. Pretty cool to see the lake, though. In 2020, there was a literal lake at the bottom of a much deeper caldera, several thousand feet under the present surface. Wild how much lava has come to the spot.

We will also make recordings of live events and make them available online for supporters to hear and purchase. In special cases, we will produce physical media and make it available for sale. Both of these will often be accompanied by video of said events.

Hawaii Synth Club will soon offer merchandise — stickers, apparel, coffee mugs, pint glasses, more — as a revenue stream.

These will be great ways for people to show their support.

We also need involvement from local venues and businesses that can offer spaces to hold these events. For live performances a theater will be key. But classrooms, conference rooms, warehouses — any space that is safe to be present and has electricity — these will be needed.
