Aha, that's the tape I used to have! Actually, it might still be around somewhere - most likely buried in a mountain of boxes under the stairs.

Still got the signed poster (yeah, like I was gonna bin it 😄).

I've just spent an hour down the rabbit hole and, yeah, there are lots of pre-production assets out there - including a script, in one case - and a few (pre-production?) trailers, but I can't find any films. Perhaps the funding wasn't reached, I dunno.

Cheers - lots to read and follow up on here. I'll get back to you...

Ah, brilliant. She sounds sincere. And four nights' filming is definitely more than a trailer's worth.

Fingers crossed that it surfaces at some point. I reckon that you should make a documentary about your sleuthing. Would make a nice extra for the Blu-ray. 😄

Cheers, I hadn't seen that piece. The detail that's gone into this project is amazing.

Cheers - yeah, that was one of the articles I read yesterday. I started off thinking 'ooh...' but quickly realised it was a PR piece. I've only just clocked the date, though: 2012.

Phew. 😄
November 22, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Yeah, keep the file open. Good luck!

It's weird, and a bit frustrating because I do like solving stuff, but at the same time I kind of like the mystery.
November 22, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Yeah, it's an intriguing one, for sure. One mildly interesting thing I discovered, via archive-org, is that the film's official site was set up in 2012, five years before the 2017 trailer - and there's a 'watch the trailer' link on that 2012 site. (Of course, it doesn't work now.)

After seeing your post yesterday, I spent a good while googling, and... all avenues led nowhere much. Makes me wonder whether the trailer is/was the thing. I noticed that the trailer posted on YouTube contains no credits, in terms of production companies, distributor, etc - which seems unusual.

I notice that you're still alive too, which is reassuring. 😄

Yeah, they were great. I remember my mum buying me a set every time I went to the dentist, as a reward.

The discovery that only half the letter had rubbed off. Happy days. 😄

Me too. God’s Own Junkyard houses a lovely collection of the stuff. Some of it’s on the saucy/sweary side, so maybe don’t go visiting with the vicar in tow. 😄

I searched for the quote on archive-org, and found it in a Jung collection. I've screen-grabbed the snippet below, and here's a link so you can see the source and further context: tinyurl.com/carljungquote (sorry for the redirect - the original URL is super-long).

Excellent - yeah, I was having a poke around its history earlier. It being the largest steel sculpture in Europe at the time that it was created is particularly impressive.
