An op-ed preaching "unity" labels us anti-Zionist and calls for our expulsion. All because we mustered a majority and got our resolutions passed.
At the next WZC, we'll be back and even stronger.

This is massive! We just prevented the World Zionist Organization from providing any type of support for settlement activity in Gaza! No $, no assistance, no support of any kind! Our resolution passed 300-242.
This is why you elected us to the World Zionist Congress. Thank you for all your support!

We're so glad to have @rabbijilljacobs.bsky.social, CEO of @truahrabbis.bsky.social, as one of our representatives at this week's World Zionist Congress, standing up for our values: Shalom (peace), Tzedek (justice), Shivyon (equality).

Happy to share some images from our delegation's march to, and rally at, the Knesset today, to proudly express our beliefs and our brand of Zionism - support for Peace, Justice, Equality, and for Diplomacy over War and over Division.

Wearing "Believe in Peace" tshirts and carrying signs reading Shalom, Tzedek, Shivyon (Peace, Justice, Equality), Rabbi @mhughesrob.bsky.social, executive director of @partners4israel.bsky.social, was one of the many Hatikvah delegation members who marched to the Knesset today to express our values!

Over the weekend, Hatikvah slate delegates paid a visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz and the site of the Nova Festival massacre.

Jon Allen, frmr Canadian ambassador to Israel: “Failure to speak out is complicity."
Jewish Canadians can vote in the World Zionist Congress elections for a Zionism rooted in democracy — not domination! Vote at www.votehatikvah.ca by THIS SUNDAY, 15 JUNE.
(Not eligible? Share with someone who is!)

Elections end June 15!!! Go to www.votehatikvah.ca to vote Hatikvah Canada. That, writes Sara Azikri-Dobner (blogs.timesofisrael.com/challenging-...), is a way of saying “We support Israel, but not this government” - not the version that grows ever more distant from democratic and ethical values.

Our response (corrected) to the release of the preliminary results of the World Zionist Congress elections in the US (available at azm.org/2025-us-wzc-...). We're proud that Hatikvah ran this campaign with integrity and our values at the forefront.

Our earlier statement - due to election improprieties, we don't for sure when results will be official and made public.

3/ ... a process that holds the slates that acted inappropriately responsible. We will send regular updates as we receive them. Thank you to everyone who voted and gave their support!

2/ Our goal has been to cultivate an Israel that lives up to its highest values.
With all of the cheating allegations, many of which we know have merit, it will be some time before we know the vote totals and breakdowns of mandates. Hatikvah will be at the table pushing for a transparent process...

🧵The last few months have been an exercise in collaboration and creating space for the greater good. We're proud of the organizations that brought us together and those who joined, + dozens of individuals and noncoalition partners and Israeli elected officials who came together with a common goal.

Folks: there's still a few hours not just to vote, but to convince SOMEONE ELSE to vote! Maybe one of the many who's never even heard of the World Zionist Congress!
So, for the nth time: #votehatikvah, slate #16, at ZionistElection.org. Voting closes in just a few hours - 11:59 PDT, to be precise.
May 5, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Marking #israelindependenceday with the undying hope that Israel will yet live up to its highest values.
Help us do our part to bring Israel closer to its original vision! #VoteHatikvah (Slate 16) #VoteHope by May 4 in the World Zionist Congress elections- zionistelection.org.

When we show up & speak out, we create change, says slate member & @jstreetdotorg.bsky.social staffer Emily Kaiman, who was ousted from a Jewish social group until her op-ed generated a public outcry.
Emily says voting Hatikvah, slate #16 @ zionistelection.org, is another great way to create change!

Our slate members showed up yesterday to tell Ben-Gvir that he's not welcome here.
Another way to say so and show Ben-Gvir that *WE* are the Jewish majority is to vote @hatikvahslate.bsky.social (slate #16) at zionistelection.org!

Our slate members were out in force at today's NYC rally against Itamar Ben Gvir, including the one and only Nancy Kaufman (@nkkaufman.bsky.social)!

For those reluctant about voting because of the need to sign the Jerusalem Program: We wanna be clear - OUR ultimate values are the guarantees of equal rights and freedom in Israel's Declaration of Independence (not the Jerusalem Program).
