Hey, Canadian coffee shops changing the name of 'Americano' to 'Canadiano'. That's not what Italians call it here. We never called it Americano in the first place (blame Starbucks for that). Instead, we say 'Caffè Canadese' because we live in Canada.
Americano = American. Canadese = Canadian.

Today the crowds were so thin, we couldn't do full shows, so I took my 30 min timeslots to develop some new material. I came up with some real gems on the fly. I never work with children but I kind of want to start doing more bits with kids in my shows.

This gig is testing my fortitude. While I'm very happy to be back at work, and the shows have been lovely, it's been a slog. My brain is exhausted and I miss my boyfriend and cat. 6 more days on tour.

This hotel has a gym! I felt extra sluggish on the treadmill, probably due to the flight edema + jetlag and NOT because I didn't know how to program the machine because it's in Mandarin. 🙃

The ride t Jiujiang was pretty easy. It was kind of magical being sleep deprived and listening to Kraftwerk while the neon lights passed by the tour bus.
