Progress! I now have triggers (the red object has the code, the green is the 'trip') that spawn these floaty enemies that fly in on a set pattern. Gotta refine shot speeds and interaction between projectiles, but really pleased with my progress so far. #unity3d #spine2d #cute #shmup #indiegame

The best Halloween treat...progress! I now officially have enemies that actually fire at our hero. I will be looking into firing sounds, a buzz for the shots passing by and muzzle flashes, but that's post prod garnish. Next, moving enemies!

First flapping, now blasting! O.k., the blasts currently don't DO much (save looking all Space Harrier-style awesome) but thanks to erstwhile YouTube code sensei Bobsi (www.youtube.com/watch?v=omdU...) I now have basic pew-pews. Next...destroyable targets! #indiegamedev #unity #shmups

My attempted Kickstarter was...edumacational, at least. 1) need a crowd BEFORE the crowdfunder. 2) Need a demo. So to that end I'm stuck into knocking one together. Early days, gonna SO need some code assist on this, but Boon IS flapping. Now just need to get him blasting...
