Khorasan are large berries compared to the other two and one of my favourites. These three grains are relatively unchanged from thousands of years ago, and they are now all grown in Alberta. I have milled these together for some sourdough!

Spelt has been found at sites in Iraq, Armenia and Georgia dating back to 5000 bce and is commonly found in ancient Northern European sites. Khorasan originated further east in Persia with Emmer another ancient grain which is often sold as Farro, as is both Spelt and Einkorn.

Three of species of ancient wheat are Spelt, Khorasan and Einkorn. Of these, Einkorn is one of the earliest cultivated in the area of modern day Syria and Southern Turkey, likely supporting the monument/settlement around Göbekli Tepe.

Around 10,000 years ago, our ancestors started taking wild grasses and selecting them for certain traits and growing them as a food. They used wild grasses before, but around this time they purposely started growing them.

I am not pushing back. I want them to do something, as you know it is freeway most of the time. Not very optimistic it will be any good what they do.
It will definitely be interesting next year considering they told they are not planning any communication on the work.

At the very least they should let us know what they will do. Don’t get me wrong, I want them to do something but what they have done on traffic calming is ineffective, so I am not confident in their abilities.

Totally agree. Why do we need these foundations to fundraise for medical facilities that are needed in the community, and should be provided 100% by the provincial government.
