I see the use of the term 'gender', at least in my field, as being about expectations, replacing the previous term 'sex roles' and highlighting that these roles are socially constructed rather than essential properties of sex. This is different from 'gender identity' as a personal property.

Yes, I started off pro, but after seeing that doc with Liz Carr, I'm not so sure. Disabled people are often treated disgracefully.

Nicely nuanced piece, which I suspect a lot of women will agree with. Although the overall message is that sex/relationships with large age gaps should be avoided. Reminds me of Katherine Angel's book, 'Tomorrow Sex Will Be Good Again'.

I grew up near Oxford, and remember Annabelinda, the slightly hippy but very expensive clothes shop beloved of some students that I later found out was a money laundering operation for Marks. Later on, when I lived in Oxford I gad my suspicions about a fancy lingerie shop in Walton Street.
