A beautiful new day dawns. I started knitting a new shawl with handspun yarns, undyed mohair & a lovely alpaca/merino/ mohair/cashmere/silk blend in shades of blue. Lace work is involved so it is a slower, meditative knit, well suited to this time of year, allowing space to dream of spring gardens..

What a week... and now Friday has come and gone... time to curl up in bed with a cup of tea, a good book and warm, sleepy cats, a great way to start my weekend!
