In January, we learned that a $3.5 million lawsuit had been filed against RLA by a former student alleging physical, sexual, psychological abuse by teachers and by other students. As @rachelbrowne.ca notes:

After the article was published, we have since learned, parents began pulling their kids from the school. Enrolment decreased significantly. Staff were told not to speak to the media; students threatened to go to the media.
