I’m not surprised it’s not a Hollywood production ….Hollywood would have fucked it up.
Can we talk about the accent? Most Americans doing accents make me cringe …but Connors Russian accent …no notes from me … that monologue in Russian…I watched it without subtitles the first time & still cried

Unfortunately me 🙋♀️…and it was when my now ex had moved to LA to work there & we were trying long distance ….last thing we did on my last trip to see him was see Avatar in the theatre …I flew back home & found out in a most spectacular way he was cheating on me …no…I don’t need to see any sequels 🤣

Unfortunately me 🙋♀️…and it was when my now ex had moved to LA to work there & we were trying long distance ….last thing we did on my last trip to see him was see Avatar in the theatre …I flew back home & found out in a most spectacular way he was cheating on me …no…I don’t need to see any sequels 🤣

…we sat next to eachother for at least an hour and I watched him just sit with the script, occasionally writing in it …my favorite part of my set visits was watching the true process of how TV is made, & his acting process, for whatever reason, truly left me fascinated more so than any others I saw

I’m not going to suddenly say I liked everything he did onscreen or offscreen …but at the same time, I appreciate the impact he had on this world and the genre. I got to watch his process on set once and ….cant begin to tell you how magical that was separate from anything else

Hollywood/LA is such a fucked up place to be to begin with, my ex became such an asshole being in the fishbowl, and he was like no one famous and like just on the edge of shit …I always wonder what a mindfuck it must have been for Tony with the added layer of being a gay man in the 80s during it all

He was a messy human in a fishbowl….and also a legend…. I also appreciated after all of that …his last years were spent having a quiet life in a small apartment in Amsterdam with an adorable husband and Max the Cat…
