What I don't really get is who is this GDC for? It feels like it's trying to target everyone and no one at the same time. And maybe I'm nitpicking, but the event deck really should be reorganized. Some of the most crucial information is towards the end. They should have led with the pricing change!

What I don't necessarily understand is the change to "festival". I enjoy a good party, but I'm not going to GDC to have a party. I'm going to network with other professionals, support indie developers, and hopefully have some sort of professional development and/or sharing of knowledge with peers.

And tell me why titles have ZERO consistency across all these companies. Sometimes I can't even find roles that fit me because it's hidden behind some completely different title.

I'm definitely looking for my next adventure in gaming, but I'm also really enjoying having a bit of time to rest. It's been fun reconnecting with my hobbies! Already signed up for a game jam and one of the Indie Game Academy courses.
