Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30

Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Matthew 11:21

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Death nor the fear of death have never held a hold on me, or on my conscience, further than what has caused me to consider reality and ask God more questions to know.

God has answered most all my questions. He gives me most of what I ask of Him, and He helps me pray for what I need.

Shalom.
..The first time I heard about baptism was four years later, when I was nine, sitting in church one day, and I was like pricked in my spirit, like, "Why hadn't I heard about this until now?" And I told my Mom I wanted to get baptized, and I think it was the same service I was able to be baptized.
I have trusted in Jesus Christ since I was five years of age and I first heard about Him in my Kindergarten class when our teacher told us about Jesus and introduced us to our Saviour that day, as she told us our need for Him, which I honestly knew, and of the Good News that He paid for our sins.

I do not fear death. I do not fear life.

Someone once told a robber who was holding a gun to his chest demanding all his stuff, "You can't scare me with Heaven!"

God, Whom I fear, has told me to say and declare and repeat to His children:

Do not fear.

Rest.

It is well.

Amen to that.

For most people who are unsaved, and for many believers who have not yet fully learned about the good richness of this life in Christ, there is a daily fear of death, and a fear of the uncertainty of life.

For myself, I have truly never dealt with these fears to any great extent, because of Jesus.

The blood of Jesus Christ is the only thing that can relieve our conscience from the wrath of God. If we have the blood of Christ applied to us and our account is clear before God, we have no wrath of God, unless we ignore His Spirit to wrath.

A non-believer has only the wrath of God in their mind.

There is a very real wrath of God which can be known in several ways. The first way that everyone becomes introduced to it is when we sin and wilfully choose unrighteousness, when we are old enough to know better. I do not believe there are babies in Hell.

Everyone who sins has the wrath of God.

The God of the Bible just makes sense, and He is the most awesome God and none of the other fake gods even come close to comparing to Him. Not everything is readily known right now to us all, but over time we learn, and the Word tells us that there is a revelation when all things will be known.

The birth, life, death, burial, resurrection, ministry, and ascension of Jesus Christ were all part of preparing us for the Day of the Lord when He restores all things, and when He takes us to be with Him forever, as perfected siblings in Christ. There is soon coming a New Heaven and a New Earth.

Jesus was born of a virgin, fulfilling prophecy, and throughout His life walking around here on Earth, He fulfilled apparently at least 300 prophecies that were recorded in older times about Him and His manifestation as a lowly servant, without form or comeliness that anyone should look upon Him.

We are born once with Adam as our father of inheritance, which includes an inheritance of sin and death from what Adam and Eve chose in the Garden of Eden.

We all must be born again, and this opportunity is yet open to any and all who might believe for salvation today on the name of Jesus Christ.

God created each person in His own image, and Jesus Christ is the light that lights every man. It is this light that man turns away from when he is old enough to recognize his sinful ways but chooses to hide them, and it is this same Jesus Christ which needs to be accepted and trusted when He calls.

No matter what we ever say to the Lord about His people, it seems God's response is always some form of, "Love them."

God's mercy and lovingkindness becomes more real and grander and more accessible for us to give to others as we grow in the Lord to become more like Him in His kind love towards us.

Each person who has ever heard the Gospel Message of salvation can thank God for sending the person and people who told them about Jesus and their need for salvation, and each time we lead someone to know and trust in Him, we become part of their testimony of how God showed mercy and lovingkindness.

Again, I don't believe that just getting into a tub of water and getting baptized can save anybody, nor can getting "really clean" physically, emotionally, and spiritually make anybody saved or salvation-worthy.

Our salvation comes when we hear about Who Jesus is and trust Him as the Son of God.

There is Scripture which says that they were being baptized for the dead, and it is used as proof alongside other proof, for the very authenticity of our faith. They were being baptized for the dead back then. Why shouldn't the church be doing this today, in hopes that God can see mercy there?

If I found a believer who would agree to baptize me, preferably a studied Pastor, I would be baptized again and again for a bunch of dead people, in case they are in Hell, to beg God to let the baptism count for them, because everyone in Hell is a believer now, they just can't get baptized, no water

..or to join the church, or for whatever reason they think that baptism is good for.

Joining the church, it doesn't save you, but when you are saved, you are joining the church, and in a perfect world people will go from church to church and have a welcome in the name of Christ as familiar family.

If a parent baptizes their family in their home or backyard when they come to believe in Jesus, those family members who truly believe then are truly saved, and no Pastor or church or anybody else can tell those people that their baptism is invalid and that they'll have to do it again to be saved.

A person or church who thinks that someone's baptism is invalid if it isn't from withing another "like-minded Baptist church" severely mis-understands baptism and severely over-estimates their own church's place and role in the advocacy and salvation of the soul of a man.

A person does not need to be baptized in any one sort of church, nor does the person baptizing need to know more about Jesus than the one being baptized. A person with faith to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and eternal salvation just needs to be baptized as such.

God's church is a sort of house made of living stones, a living organism with a Head, which is Christ, and the church meets in remembrance and instruction and fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ and He says that where two or three are gathered, He is there in the midst of them and He is, verily.

What are the things that are good about Christmas, which you like and love and enjoy about the season, or which you did when you were younger..? You can write those things down, and if they are lasting and worthwhile, you can like whatever time of the year it is by praising God for those things.

There really is a good thing to have in your pocket or find with your hand in a drawer later on in the year, of things that you know God is good for. Even having just written them down is a form of worship and a testimony of His goodness.

There are good temporal things which are temporary which are good to thank God for, and there are some wonderful eternal things to be grateful for. We can have, and should definitely have a holy day of Thanksgiving every day. And we can and should definitely celebrate Christmas every day. I do.
