met someone today who knew some of my colleagues from an old orchestra - he said he’d asked them about me before this gig and one of them said “i didn’t know her well. but i do know that she loves women’s sports.”

legacy complete. i’ve never been so pleased
if you are in chicago it’s time to hit the streets (or daley plaza, as it were). 40% cuts to the CTA will fuck over every single one of us.
The time has come to rise up and demand legislators save transit!

Join us this Saturday and make it clear to @govpritzker.illinois.gov and legislators that they have a job to finish this summer.

⏰ July 12th @ 12pm

The colonialism of British TERFs is through the roof. Again. This open letter from Irish feminists to British transphobes in 2018 remains relevant.

Where was JK Rowling's money for #RepealThe8th? But she has it to spread British Anti-LGBT hate in Ireland? #Spéirgorm

House Republicans just passed Trump’s Tax Scam (the GOP’s Medicaid-slashing, billionaire-enriching megabill) in a 215-214 vote. The bill got even worse overnight, but the most important thing to know right now is this:

This fight isn’t over, and this bill can still be stopped. 🧵

Yes, I AM jealous.
This is the Beijing-Shanghai corridor, which takes 4 hours and 18 minutes to cover 800 miles. That’s the same distance as NYC to Chicago, which currently takes 20 hours by train.
