a moving truck from johto getting through here implies a whole lot of infrastructure going on off-screen outside RPG Vision which gets weirder the more freely explorable the world gets (i cannot believe scarlet/violet still does the "a town can be two houses, a lab, and two homeless NPCs" thing)

i'm undecided if iono's ace having levitate and thus no weaknesses and its strongest move not being electric or relevant to its type matchups whatsoever was cool or just weird

for carmine, mount coronet is here if you forgot what the mountain in kitakami is called and some of these seem like bait for thinking she's from hisui
on the other hand, not sure why ribbons are here when her phone is covered in them, and i got the impression she would be into history stuff

this is basically giving the player access to the feature i was starting to add to randomized friend battles in #HamsLeagueClub when i set it down, where the same individual pokemon could have a different build in different rematches. now it'll make sense when Nemona's Pawmot has Coaching in raids

another reason i'd rather not think about fling: wondering why a cream puff or insurance papers do more damage than a jagged rock or a legendary artifact

i found precedent for my guess that certain pokemon moves like Breaking Swipe and Chilling Water are flagged as un-Metronome-able just because they were made by copypasting Snarl
three flinch moves that briefly had the stomp vs minimize mechanic for no reason: extrasensory, astonish, and needle arm
