Yes, there's a huge number out there! When I fly commercially as a passenger at night I enjoy trying to identify some of them from the flight levels — e.g. KBFL vs. L45 in Bakersfield — just by the position of the rotating light in relation to a town's center. Well, it keeps me amused, anyway 😀

The former Royal Edward Victualling Yard (now often known as REVY), as seen in 2023 courtesy of Google Maps (maps.app.goo.gl/4iRp2FgNQdFa...). The complex now houses Google (I think) and luxury apartments.

I wish I'd had the wit and courage to do the same thing in inner-city Sydney (Australia) back in the same sort of timeframe. I follow your work here almost religiously 😀
