I get that this looks like a mistake but they're really just underlining what they really mean when they say "immigrant". Look at what they're doing now in prioritizing white South Africans in the asylum process. They're signaling that one color of immigrant is good and the rest are bad.

I also laid out the part where BooBoo shows up at Cindy's door and her initial reaction to that. I did some pretty-close-to-finished animation posing on Yogi pushing through the bushes and calling for BooBoo and I drew all those scary trees in the pan where Yogi is running in terror.

I don't know that I did final animation on anything - I did some layouts and keyposing that got animated by the overseas studios. I did a lot of that with BooBoos' reversion - lots of 4 legged walk cycle stuff and messy dog lips.

I agree 100% with your assessment, and I am encouraged by this turn so far, I just feel like whatever his potential actions are, he could just as easily backslide again whenever the focus group he has in the place of a soul tells him to.

I've been in the States for 30 years; between family & work, I've built a lot of my life in that time & I can't take all of that with me. Leaving at this point would be a 1-way trip so I won't until it's absolutely necessary. The trick is knowing if & when that time comes & getting out before it.

I hear you saying he could reframe his question to be more ethical, but I think you're giving this guy a lot of unearned latitude in assuming he's at all trying to be ethical. His job is not your job of reporting, his job is being a sensationalist shit stirrer.

How would that be better? The wording of the question at the end is secondary to the deliberately transphobic framing of "biological males who say they're women"- Should he have said "What do you think is the right policy regarding biological males who say they're women?" The trap's in the 1st part.
