It's almost like recommending Steins;Gate... Like it's amazing but you really need to get through the exposition and story bits, then the payoff is incredible. Some of the sequences you experience are just incredible.

Can vouch for DaVinci. I edit real estate videos and have been for almost 5 years with 10+ years of Premiere Pro experience. I recently switched to DaVinci and it's very very nice. Adobe is far too expensive and crashes way too much. DaVinci feels like a much smoother experience.
