This is speaking from experience, and receiving guidance from medical professionals to get my readings where they needed to be. Your mileage may vary. 3/3

The safest bet would be to get your vitamin D checked, and go from there. I know here in Ontario, if you don't qualify for the free blood test it's $35 at LifeLabs. Once you know your baseline, getting your supplementation amount sorted is a one time thing. 2/3

I'd say there's likely one exception to the vitamin rule, as I agree mostly with it. That would be vitamin D3, anyone living in northern climates, especially working indoors probably is vitamin D3 deficient, and there's research showing being deficient can lead to various inflammatory issues. 1/3

Designed to be, but hijacked. Also, very susceptible to tracking, the whole public ledger thing and all.

Bitcoin had a great idea behind the original design, but what it's turned into is terrible.

It was fantastic for parsing and manipulating strings, and system automation, I wrote some pretty awesome Perl programs in the past. But Python and GoLang have completely rendered it unnecessary. I still get warm fuzzies when I see some archaic thing written in Perl, still doing its thing.

May I introduction you to Perl. The language that is almost exclusively write only. Good luck making sense of it after you've written it and put it in prod.

That would be awesome, and I would DEFINITELY do that.

Nope, absolutely not. I don't hide it, it's all open source, I've published links here on Bsky. Just the connection is something I've tried to avoid.
I just don't want someone getting blindsided by what they're looking at in a corporate environment 😂

Staff engineer here too. Thing is, hiring manager is gay, so there's a higher likelihood of him knowing what these things are. Not that any of this really bothers me, I've just always tried to keep separation between professional and personal.

Variables are all reasonably named, same with functions, it's the actual projects themselves, vacbed controller, popper pump, currently working on building an edger on the m5stack... Can't really play those as anything else
