They sell a stand up vr set that just has a pedestal with the flipper buttons. Might be better for storage if you are just doing vr.

Even on desktop or a vpin setup it's still pretty good. I use an old 4k flat screen with two old computer displays for backglass and topper. Works pretty well. The VPin Workshop 4k tables have incredibly high fidelity

I'm a big fan of VPX. It's a great way to learn a table ruleset. Set up is not hard especially with the (baller installer) version. Future Pinball is also another great option that only requires one file to play, though there is less of a selection.
