Yesterday I came upon a book showing photos in 1900 to the same places in 1970 something and in one of the photos it mentioned sheep crossing over onto reservation land. It didn’t say what indigenous nations land so I looked it up. It happened to be the crow nation. /1

I’ve been rereading Krakatoa and sometimes my brain is like ‘being near a volcano which would annihilate itself doesn’t sound so bad rn’. Then I look at my cats and I have yet to convince them to love me the most. World chaos - you’re just gonna have to wait….
