I finished the first draft of the second version of a script for a short film I’m working on. Since my daughter is asleep and my wife is at work, I’m celebrating by listening to Justice - DVNO on repeat while hanging out with our dog. 🐾

Hanzel und Gretyl in Chicago circa 1998; they opened for Rammstein. They invited my friend and I onto their tour bus. The band members were really cool, but we got some weird looks from the handful of goth girls who could tell it was our first time on a tour bus.

Something else I’ve found helpful is choosing a soundtrack for the apocalypse. My apocalypse soundtrack is the entire @nin.com catalog. It has all the sounds and feels that I need to coast on the waves of impending doom and destruction.

My wife and I have both been fans of Nine Inch Nails since we were teenagers. By the time we met each other several years later, I had seen them in concert but she hadn’t. Today, I purchased tickets so we can see Nine Inch Nails together on our 20th wedding anniversary.

My wife and I both really enjoyed COMPANION. It turned out to be a great date night movie for a couple who have been together for over 20 years and both enjoy dark comedies about fumbling criminals that raises ethical questions, but leaves it up to the audience to answer those questions. ❤️🔥🍿
