I’ve had some success with an ice pack on the back of my neck for vagus nerve issues specifically

It’s been a minute since I was in undergrad, but she’s pretty good for niche cult and other true crime type information from what I remember, should you need to research similarly niche cult leaders in the future.

Your primary source, Dr. Sarteschi, I took classes from her in undergrad, and she’s a very compassionate person who does consider the nuance of mental health when discussing criminology, so they could probably go to her as the source for that.

Myself and many of my colleagues have very strong (some radical) opinions on children’s rights, and we love these kids like they’re our own. I can’t imagine working in this field and not having a Mama Bear Mode™️

I feel like teachers have already been radicalized tbh, at least the teachers I know anyway. I’m a preschool teacher, we don’t even have any unions and we get even worse pay and benefits than elementary through high school teachers.

I’m so glad I’m not the only person like this. Still working on getting a picture on the wall lmao.

Sometimes we learned a bit about things like the trail of tears, slavery and the trans Atlantic slave trade, and other terrible things we did, but mostly it was just the previous 4 subjects.

I’ve been saying for years I feel like my history education has just always been learning and relearning the revolutionary war, the civil war, WWII (and how we were the heroes), and the civil rights movement (mostly about MLK jr and Rosa Parks).

I’m in my 30s and I don’t ever remember learning about it in high school or in any undergrad history classes. If we did talk about it at all it must have been very brief cause I had to learn about it myself within the past couple years.

Like many fields, people in ECE are underpaid and overworked. We have so much to deal with on a daily basis, and now we have to deal with creeps trying to break in to our place of work. I hope this shit dies down soon, we’ve got children to care for and teach.

I’ve worked in ECE for several years in a few different states, having locked entrances and refusing entry to random people is the standard everywhere I’ve worked. Also, depending on the state, it might even be illegal to allow someone in who is filming.

I think you may have talked about this before but how do you choose guests for the episodes?

We do! Any family friends we had were “aunt/uncle so and so.”
