Wanted a disruptor. Stupid people who think governing is like software development. You don't "move fast and break things" when the things you're dealing with are people's lives and the country's economy. You got a destructor with proven incompetence who's surrounded himself with even worse people.

Also, Putin has limited time. He's already testing NATO; Trump is backing out. The Republicans are enabling him. Canada is finally doing things that should have started in 2017, but I still don't think we have the urgency we need.

What everybody seems to be forgetting is there was another boat from which two survivors were rescued by helicopter. They were returned to Colombia & Ecuador.

I have voted consistently Conservative since I was 18 (I'm in my 70s). I have voted Liberal twice in the last decade. I'm unlikely to return to the fold as long as Poilievre is the leader. Your anecdote for today.

Except it looks as though all those European allies are being replaced by Russia, all the Asian allies replaced by China, and Canada is expected to become the US's Belaruss.

Lots of corruption in that article. Don's pentagon contracts too. But that's dipping into the cookie jar corruption. The one that should be sparking front page outrage is selling out Ukraine in what could easily turn into WW3 so that Trump & his cronies, & Putin & his cronies can make billions.

As a marketer, one of my first questions is where do they get their info. I've seen some focus group level research on that, but I'm not aware of any larger scale studies. There's a book - The Chaos Machine (Max Fisher) - which is very suggestive that social media is "a", if not "the" culprit.

Once again, I'm amazed at the fluency of his lies. He's done almost nothing, presided over the longest shutdown ever, and is in the dictionary as the definition of smarm. Nancy Pelosi, with a similar thin majority, was much more effective.
