No matter how many time I die, I can’t get used to that… reliving that pain and humiliation ugh Vox recalls what happened A: care to explain how you ended up in the trash? Lose your life in a turf war? V: ah fuck, nah it’s more embarrassing than that A: enlighten me, would you? V: I was working in my office messing with my body upgrades. I contracted this fella from Hell’s fair who specializes in bioengineering. He’s been helping me combine my hardware with synthetic stuff. Something got jammed and I shut down. I rebooted after a few days, I think? Turns out, I missed my scheduled maintenance and I was running out of time. Dragging myself out, I must’ve looked like easy prey Broken scattered panels of a fight between Vox’s and a random sinner. The sinner plunges a knife into Vox stomach, Vox uses his cable to smash the sinner against the wall and hang him up V: and then… Vox climbs into the dumpster to avoid any more predators, where he dies and regenerates over again, constantly reliving his painful death V: I healed what I could, climbed into the fucking dumpster like a FUCKING RAT AND- V: I starved to death. V: Over… and over… and over an over aND OVER AND OVERANDOVERANDOVERANDOVER V: AAAHAHA STOP IT IT HURTS STOP HAHA STOP AAAA AAHAHA FUCK STOP DYING AAAA SOMEONE PLEASE
