Ok, here's my idea:
Use my hybrid cars to run the house when the power goes out, but not via the 12VDC generator/battery, but via the high-voltage hybrid battery and the MGs which I have to imagine can produce quite a bit more power. Ideally, hijack the onboard power inverter to convert the DC to AC

I think the secret is to warp what his minions say and claim to love it. Then he'll have to fire them... to own the libs.

...although, I guess I could run Asahi Linux. I was hoping to be able to run it in a VM and still have it take advantage of my M2, but apparently that isn't a thing. :(

Driving home last night, I saw a bunch of cops collecting around a white pickup on the side of I-285 E between I-75 and GA-400. I'm guessing it was a chase. Perhaps I'll see it on State Boyzz YT channel.

Driving home last night I saw a wreck. Looked like a tractor-trailer laid down to take a nap across all lanes of I-75 N in northern Georgia.

Driving home last night I saw a big motorcade of buses going north on I-75 in northern Kentucky. Anyone know what that was?

brand new maxed out work laptop still barely half as fast as my m2 mbp... and only a third the ram... and a quarter the storage. kinda sad.

yeah, I think these headphones are getting returned. maybe they work ok if you pair them with a iOS device, but they don't really work when paired with a pair of laptops. pretty ridiculous, if you ask me.

How about a dishwashomat? Like a laundromat, but for your dirty dishes? You could drive there in your car, filled with like a month's worth of dishes and wash them in a bunch of industrial-sized dishwashers.

On the other hand, I'm pretty pleased with my fancypants new mouse which can pair to three devices (switched by a button on the bottom)

A little bummed that my fancy new Sony headphones can't pair to two laptops. It /can/ pair to two devices, but one has to be a phone since the Headphones Connect app is only available there and it must be on one of the two devices.

Tried making a simulation to see if I could get the same results as en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell%27... - failed miserably. Need to go back and put my thinking cap on for that. I suspect it has something to do with how I am combining probabilities for the electron and positron.

That Superliminal game messes with your head. I just tried to make a can of cola bigger by stretching my arm to set it down.

argh. Once again, I launch Parallels Desktop and no Control Center window appears. I went to my Parallels folder with my VMs and tried launching my Windows VM, but nothing.

You short-sighted selfish consumers! Can't you see what this is doing to those poor companies and the economy? Return back to your usual unchecked rampant consumerism. www.cnbc.com/2025/11/23/h...

Woot! Found a way to improve some very performance sensitive code by almost 30%. Was just tracing through it using the debugger and writing down notes in another window when I noticed some work being done and then thrown away.

Was thinking a fun project would be to make my own PS/2 to USB adapter for keyboards, like the IBM Model M I have. Yes, I know you can buy them, but the couple that I've tried were flaky. Plus I just think it would be cool to have an open source project for this. I'm thinking about using PIC16F1454.

In theory, it should be possible to phase modulate the microwave so that you move around where the hot/cold spots are. I think that might be the idea behind Sharp's "virtual carousel" tech which I think my dead microwave had, but it doesn't work.

Did you know that Monday December 13th, '93 was a Fibonacci day? At least for us pre-Y2K m/d/y folks. 121393. Possibly the only one within any sort of reasonable time frame.
