Made a card for my trainer's Corsola using my image. Sidenote but I can't believe there's no ice-type for Pokémon cards. Seems like a massive oversight. Never played Pokémon TCG so maybe there's a reason? Idk.

Especially since this Corsola is an ice-type.

The big battle chapter is coming out on Halloween!
This image is described in my book. Here are the passages from the book quoted. Stepping in just enough the door slams behind you. Turning back and to the side you understand why the room was empty now. In the upper corner of the room was a large demon, perched near the ceiling holding himself up. You didn't even need to analyze him to know it was Vassago. The skull head, dense black fur, monstrous appearance and flames for eyes were good enough. Nevermind if the cop from earlier was on it you immediately made for the door, only leaping back as a fireball hit the handle, missing your hand and melting the knob. Backing to the opposite corner, Vassago stared at you. Unlike Tabi he only had the top skull, and his eyes, just spheres of fire hovering in the eye sockets were unreadable. You reached for you gun next, hand grabbing it out the holster and aiming at him. He was larger than you and Tabi, well over 2m, maybe even 2.5m tall and like Rosie said was covered in short black fur. But it was short and dense, further obscured by all the muscles he had. He was strongly built, possibly even moreso than Daddy (at least, more visibly strong). From visible pecs to his arms being a bunch of spheres with how bulbous they were he looked like a beast. Muscles were visible on his legs too, bending the same way a horse's would as he stood tall (almost appearing as if he were crouching). He even stood on hooves like a horse would.

He had literal flames for eyes, flickering brightly as the game demanded his entire focus. With how his jaws clenched to the hunched position and tight grip on the controller, he was not to be bothered right now. From the light off the television it was hard to tell what his colour his body normally was. Shirtless, his body glowed dimly. Once frightful of his appearance he now felt comfortable enough to own it. You'd seen it enough times and intimately enough that it didn't bother you. Though you never found his appearance disconcerting, just always fascinating. It was him that was extremely conscious of his appearance, a combination of no self-esteem + the harrowing conditions in which he was forced into that appearance which made him that way. When you first met him he didn't even like people seeing him eat. Now he didn't care, accepting his appearance.

Does anyone have any book suggestions for something 'comfy'? Been trying to get back into reading more and 10+ abandoned books later I'm still unable to find anything to hold my attention.

My penguin Ludgren is sitting down on a vinyl-tiled floor, arms crossed and looking frustrated. Around him are all of the novels and books I've tried reading this past year. It comprises books from 1900 to present, from alternate history to biographies to comedies. Here's the longer description I wrote explaining my problem: For over a year now I've been trying to reignite my passion for reading by trying different books. Every single book has ended the same way, giving up after a chapter or two and stopping in place of my own art, video games or some other distraction. I have not successfully read a full novel since January of 2025(?) where I read an alternate history novel from the 50s. Since then I've unsuccessfully tried reading a whole myriad of different books from biographies to comedies to adventures and been unable to get into any. The last book I tried was 'I Remember Lemuria by Richard Shaver (1945)' and while that was interesting at the start I don't like reading on my phone and couldn't find a physical copy. The next books I am intending to try are either 'I, Claudius by Robert Graves (1934)' or 'Mastodonia by Clifford D. Simak (1978)'. Failing those I may just retry 'Carry On Jeeves by P. G. Wodehouse (1925)'. Because of my growing frustration with this I decided to make a image of all the books I've tried (or plan to try) this past year lying around my frustrated penguin. Maybe posting this will subconsciously help me get back into reading by forcing me to see the absurdity of all these failed attempts. If anyone has any suggestions for something 'comfy' to read I'll give it a shot. Taking any suggestions including fanfictions. Not interested in any non-fiction, comics, manga or VNs however. I'd prefer something I don't need a screen to read (fanfics are an exception).
