Side note: I do wish to tackle some themes of racism (varying in how subtle it is at times) with this character and I know I don’t speak for anyone or everyone by doing this but I’ve done research and put a lot of thought into her story and I’m open to learning more.

I guess that’s all my major thoughts on the premiere: kind of a mixed bag but I do have a handful of things I like about it!! Here’s to another season!!

You Alec and Spencer could lock in a final 3 pact right there and you don’t want to because “nerd emoji”?!

My only other real gripe is Fiore turning down an alliance with Spencer because “another know it all with an accent”?? Like it’s a bad thing?? I understand not liking personality but come on Fiore Spencer was one of the dominating strategists in his season how could you turn that down??

Rosa and Anastasia’s budding friendship does also seem interesting even though I’m a little confused why Rosa feels more comfortable admitting defeat around Anastasia more than her practically surrogate sister aka Lake?? But I can see what they’re trying to do here.

I don’t really have any major opinions on the returning favs or any changes on how I feel about them but I will say I love how Aiden seems more confident and Benji and Ally’s new budding friendship is so nice especially since I love both of these nerds on their own respectively.

But what saves him from me actively disliking him is his duo with Ara these 2 seem like an interesting villain duo and I’m excited to see what happens next for them!! Dunia also seems pretty fun as well as Ren in a bit more of a dorky way and I love it lol

As much as I’m still not a fan of Finn’s advances on Tom (aka a married man) especially when he is also seeing someone which if he had to reaffirm that they talked about a “hall pass” I’m gonna be raising an eyebrow 🤨 and knowing ONC they’re probably gonna milk this for all its worth

As for some of the new characters that I do like: Ara seems pretty competent, Manu seems like a genuine homie and I love it, Sam actually seems like an interesting villain, Bruno was so fun loving and I love his nerd energy (but seriously why is everyone pinning the challenge loss on him?!)

Tho I’d still say I like her more than Evie idk I guess I can see why people would find her funny but I just feel like she’s a dead weight to her team. She’s lucky the others didn’t target her yet but that also means we get more of her lazy and idiotic personality yayyy /s
