Gracias everyone for the bday wishes. I did my usual solo walking day. Had a burger + Guinness at Molly’s Shabeen, saw the very wonderful FRANKENSTEIN at the Paris Theatre, appreciated my most favorite fall tree on my block + then ended the day w/fam at Gage and Tollner.
A delicious burger and fries. A pint of Guinness and a copy of Elmore Leonard’s GOLD COAST. A ore-screening title card for FRANKENSTEIN at the Paris. A very red and orange leafed tree under a streetlight at night. An old mirror at the end of our booth at Gage and Tollner.

This shorty by the ball fields in Prospect Park always feels like the first to turn in the fall.
A tree, about 25 feet tall, 20 feet wide. It's starting to turn a warm autumnal red, stronger at the top and lighter at the bottom.
