Not clear about the appointment issue and disbarment. But they both did things in the process of these indictments that certainly raise the potential for disbarment. Halligan failure to take Comey's indictment to the whole GJ and Bondi's affidavit trying to appoint Haligan retroactively.

All dismissals are procedural. They are reporting wrong. Until Trump can get his nominee through the Senate process (which is not likely soon as the VA Senators are Ds) the appointment will by the judges of the district, not Trump. That is why an out of district judge had to decide this motion.

Comey's case can not because statute of limitations has run on the charges. That is why Halligan's appointment was rushed and why she rushed it through grand jury.

No they did not take such an oath. They take an oath that they will obey orders given by their superiors according to the Code of Military Justice. So they take an oath to obey legal orders, not all orders no matter their legality.
