I am a midlife mom trying to find solutions and lovingly incorporate the negative side of things. "It could be made into a monster if we all pull together as a team"
It sure says something that we would rather believe a man who might get ruined over a woman who already lost everything or never had it to begin with. I'm sorry, but why does the stuff matter more than the r@pe?

I keep leaning towards reverse psychology as a strategy for the dems. Denounce every issue they care most about, but in word only. Give the issues to the red hats to get them on the other side, all while pretending to care about something inconsequential. Newsome would succeed at it.

Red folks want to claim that their perogative is to save money and balance the budget, but where are they when there's a clear route that doesn't even involve reducing the military industrial complex?
Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.
Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.
It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.
It’s about priorities.

For every person protesting, there are likely 2 more supporting them at any given time. The movement needs everyone to participate in one way or another. Many hands...

I try to teach my children to engage with life and take responsibility for themselves. I also try to teach me that it takes time for children to become proficient at orienting to what's going on at any given time. We grown folk tend to take it for granted, but we all had to learn it along the way.

My husband and I have traded over the years. Him becoming less and me becoming more atheist. While I don't feel the same certainty I once did, I still feel a sort of co creation between me and whatever resources are available at any given time. A chaotic duet of mass and will colliding.

The level of suppression of women's voices in religion really irks me. Men are gifted enormous platforms to be spiritual leaders. Women must take a vow of silence or be labeled a nut job for stepping outside norms if they try to lead a movement.

It's funny when we quit doing something for so long that we forget why we stopped doing it, so we get conspiritorial and start doing it again only to find out someone dies when we do it.

One viewpoint is what's done is done. There's no sense beating a dead horse. But that view doesn't take into account how it can sound the same as the ends justify the means.

A general strike sounds all well and good, but it doesn't take into account that the people who are most affected by injustices and feel the need for change the most are also the people who can't afford to lose everything. And very well might lose everything because the bottom has 0 job security.

I want my politicians to be human, and to er is human. Showcase your failures! They show me what you've been through and what experience you have! What did you learn? And what would you do differently? I'm tired of this ignoring transgressions.
