Here in the DC area, a lot of people took the opportunity to compare Trump unfavourably to George III.

SPOILER ALERT: In the books, Moiraine turns out not to be dead after all. Just sayin'. (She's also not gay in the books, though there is some suggestion that she may be bi/pan.) Granted, the series has changed a lot of stuff from the books, so all bets are off.

Trump & co. are so clueless when it comes to economics (and, yeah, most other topics). Actually, widespread economic illiteracy seems to have strongly affected this election. I was very frustrated at hearing reports that "people think Trump is better on the economy" despite his inane plans.

And politicians are not qualified to make medical decisions!

I've heard that they're even using Russian Orthodox churches in the USA for spying. (& of course, election influencing, but most churches here do that, despite it being theoretically illegal.)

Churches have a "get out of jail free" card for their crimes because "freedom of religion."

Truly. Now all we need do is disconnect Muskrat from NASA and space exploration/exploitation, as he is a security risk.
