(3/3) I also hope Trump won't succeed in using the ICE situation to force deals to get voter poll data.

But even when his schemes fail, Trump and his TACO stunts leave carnage behind.

(2/3) Legal experts point out that the Insurrection Act is not the same as martial law, and they predict that the Supreme Court wouldn't allow Trump to use the Insurrection Act to delay or cancel the midterm elections. I hope they're right.

Thanks so much. Today hit me REALLY horrifically, but this was a successful calmer-downing.

(4/4) One of the things we do on Passover is to mix bitter with sweet, because that's our way to cope with what it means to be alive. That's why we sweeten our news with satire, so that we can laugh and cry at the same time.

My husband recently discovered after his heart attack that many hospital med-techs would cherry-pick his bp readings, creating the illusion that meds were controlling his bp better than they actually were. Anyway, I recommend an Omron brand home monitor to get as much reliability as you can.

The song about "a little piece of Poland, a little piece of France," from the 1983 Mel Brooks movie remake "To Be or Not To Be," a tribute to the also excellent Jack Benny 1942 movie of the same name.

DJT’s fake "deal framework" aims for small pieces of Greenland.

BTW, this image is clipped from a video (probably an AI fake) purporting to show an alligator stealing a rotisserie chicken from a Florida Walmart. No rotisserie chickens were actually harmed.
